How do you load new audio into Diddy DJ ?


Audio is loaded into DiddyDJ using an Ftp App on your Mac / Pc. Clients that have been tested with DiddyDJ include FileZilla, Transmit, Cyberduck and Windows Explorer.

Audio must be in Aif/Wav format, 44.1khz 16bit.
Mp3 formats coming soon.

To turn on the File Upload

Make sure that wifi is turned on then select the tracks panel.

Next touch the Add button on the top navigation bar.

When this Track Management panel is visible, the tracklist file server is active and tracks can be uploaded to the device.

Uploading Files into DiddyDJ

On your mac / pc open your ftp client such as Filezilla (shown below).

Different clients may have different connection screens but the same information is used.

You will need to enter the IP address of your iPhone/iPod, which is displayed on the Diddydj Track Management panel.

Ip Address : see device screen
Port number : see device screen
Username:  diddydj
Password:  mymusic

When you click connect ( or the equivalent), an empty folder should be shown. Drop the audio files that you want to play into this folder.

When you have finished, disconnect using your app, or close the connection by touching the Track List button in the navigation bar. Your uploaded tracks will be shown in the Tracks List Screen and are ready to play.
